Charlotte Ellis
Head of Student Welfare Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1
My name is Ms. Charlotte, and I am the Head of Student Welfare for Early Years (EYFS and KS1) for the current academic year. I am from Bournemouth, England, and I am in my fourth year of teaching, having graduated from the University of Winchester in 2021. I have had the pleasure of residing and teaching in Dubai for the past year and have thoroughly enjoyed integrating into its vibrant and diverse community.
I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes both the social and academic growth of all students. In my role, I will be actively involved through well-being clubs, the Student Welfare Council, and individualized support sessions. I am also excited to collaborate closely with families this year to ensure that each GFS student feels supported and valued. My goal is to provide every pupil with the resources and guidance they need to truly thrive, and together, we will create a positive and enriching experience for all.
In addition to being the Head of Welfare for Early Years, I am also a dedicated Year 1 class teacher. I am passionate, proactive, and deeply committed to going the extra mile to support my students. I aim to foster resilience, enthusiasm, respect, and happiness in my students, encouraging them to embrace a growth mindset and become lifelong learners.
