Islamic Studies
The Islamic education aims to affirm the national identity of the learners, strengthen the bonds of love, fraternity and cooperation between them. It also aims to prepare the student to actively participate in building the society, to keep pace with the global changes and to be consciously open to other cultures. Islamic education also includes everything related to the student's life, existence, values and his/her Islamic great heritage. It also provides the student in the pre-university stage with educational learning experiences that facilitate his/her acquisition of knowledge, skills, trends and values to help him / her to become a good citizen involved in the development of his/her community.
Islam remains the mainstay of raising a generation of faithful students who have basic knowledge of their religion and the ability to apply it in their lives. From this point of view, the standards of Islamic education from Year 01 to Year 13 – that were developed by a professional team of educational experts in the United Arab Emirates - provide a framework that ensures to bridge the gap between faith and work. It will also provide students with the cognitive skills necessary to solve difficulties, resist challenges, solve problems and contribute positively to society. Standards focus on six learning areas that represent the components of the subject, namely: divine revelation, creed, the values and morals of Islam, the Islam rulings and purposes, Syrah (biography of the prophet) and characters, identity and issues of the age. These areas include a range of aspects, or "main topics". There are standards specifically developed for each class stage as part of each aspect, which are sought to be accomplished through learning outputs, which are more specific and measurable objectives.
