I am Emma White, one of the Primary Deputy Head Teachers at GEMS Founders School. Originally from Scotland, I have lived in Dubai since 1992, returning to the UK to complete my higher education at the University of Aberdeen.  I joined the school in 2018, and since then, I have been dedicated to providing an exceptional learning environment for our young learners.

As a member of the Deputy Head team, my primary goal is to ensure that our learners have an engaging and interactive learning experience. I strive to work with our teachers to create a classroom environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. By implementing innovative teaching strategies and incorporating technology into our lessons, I aim to make the learning process both enjoyable and meaningful.

I am deeply committed to supporting our students in developing lifelong skills that go beyond academics. I believe in nurturing their social and emotional growth, fostering resilience, and promoting positive values such as respect, kindness, and empathy. It is my belief that a holistic approach to education will enable our students to become well-rounded individuals who are equipped to for an ever-changing world.

I am truly privileged to work alongside a dedicated team at GFS who share the same vision for our students' success. Together, we strive to create an educational experience that inspires, challenges, and prepares our young learners for a bright future.
