Head of Student Welfare Key Stage 4

[email protected]

Hello, my name is Robyn and I am the Head of Student Welfare for KS4 at GEMS Founders School. I am also working within the Art & Design department teaching Art and Graphic Design. I have been working at GEMS founders’ school for 3 years and am extremely excited for this upcoming academic year.

I am originally from Birmingham, England where I have taught Art & Design for 3 years in an all-boys school which was much smaller then GFS. Teaching in Dubai has always been a dream job of mine and I am extremely excited to continue taking a lead on student welfare within Key stage 4 this academic year. Wellbeing & belonging have been key motivators for me throughout my career ensuring every student feels happy, welcomed and supported to grow, flourish and succeed. I am looking forward to working closely with students within the key stage to build their wider learning and confidence.

I am passionate about Art & Design and sharing my love for the subject with my students. I believe that all students should have access to a creative curriculum where they are challenged to think outside the box, generate personal idea’s, challenge and question the world around them. With the correct mindset and determination every student is able to succeed.

I welcome you to GFS and I look forward to working with you.
